Required Images

The required images to qualify a patient are a TTE and a gadolinium enhanced MRI. If a patient is unable to undergo an MRI, a routine cardiac CT acquisition protocol for left ventricular volumes and ejection fraction should be used. The required baseline views and accepted images shown will provide further clarification on the heart’s size, shape, volume, and scar location. This information is critical to correctly identify placement of the BioVentrix micro-anchoring technology and to exclude as much of the scarred myocardium from the left ventricle as possible.
